I finally hung this up over the weekend. It looks great! I was especially happy with the time and attention Tina gave to my custom request. She didn't initially have a pattern I loved, but she went the extra mile to find some options more to my liking. She sent me a few different emails with patterns similar to what I described wanting, and she put up with me saying I wanted to see a few others before settling on one. Thanks, Tina! The board is excellent quality. Considering that this was a custom request, I'd say the board shipped in a very reasonable time.

About

Stylish and Functional Organization

I created my first board so that I could display some family pictures in my (then) 2 year old daughter's room. I was afraid that if I used magnets she would eat them or if I used tacks she would get a hold of them and hurt herself. French memo boards seemed like the perfect solution, so I made one for her. My eldest liked it so much that we made one for her too, and then one for the baby. Each one was better than the one before, and I tweaked the design to make it more functional and lighter. Then I realized that framing them took the boards from something cute to have in the kids rooms to something that would look beautiful in other parts of our house.

As I started looking around for fabrics to do the boards I realized that I REALLY LIKE FABRIC! I love the colors and textures. I love the way it looks framed on the wall. Somewhere along the line I stumbled across ETSY and thought that perhaps other people would like my boards too, AND then I could experiment with more fabrics too. Across the Boards was born.

I believe that organization does not have to be dull and something beautiful is even better if it serves a purpose.

I create french memo boards for your home, office, kitchen, nursery, teens room or wherever you want a place to add a punch of color or pattern and some personalization. Use the boards to tuck in pictures, cards, notes, children’s artwork or anything else that you’d like to display or have easy access to. With these boards it is easy to update your pictures, rotate your display pieces, and organize without damaging important items.

Shipping
I will ship my boards via the least expensive shipping option. I typically use USPS. If you would like to choose the carrier you will be responsible for any fee over the quoted price. I am willing to ship via a faster shipping method if requested; additional fees will apply.

I use recycled shipping and packing materials when possible.

All in stock boards will be shipped out within 3-5 business days. Custom orders will take more time, but will be shipped within 2-4 weeks. Please convo me if you need a rush order and I will make every effort to accommodate your needs. I will send you an email when your items ships that will include the carrier that I have used and any tracking information that is available.
Refunds and Exchanges
My boards and customers are very important to me. I will make sure that you are satisfied with your custom fabric board. If you have questions about your selection, please email me so that we can work out a solution. Standard policies are listed below.

If your item arrives damaged, please refuse delivery and take pictures of the damaged box and send them to me. When the board arrives back to me I will send you a replacement.

If you are dissatisfied with the color, style, etc of your board you may return it at your expense and I will be happy to exchange it for you within 2 weeks of purchase. I encourage you to request additional pictures and/or a fabric swatch before ordering if you are concerned about whether a particular board will work with your decor (swatches are a lot easier to mail :)
Additional policies and FAQs
Please convo me if you are interested in a custom board. I am willing to switch fabrics, sizes, frames, ribbons and create something that is perfect for your space. I have a number of fabrics on hand, but am always exploring to find new things and am also willing to find something specific to your needs. Just give me some color/style guidance and I can seek out some samples and work with you to find the perfect one. Or, if you have a fabric on hand (or a source for me to order it from) that you want turned into a board I'd be happy to do that too. In some cases there will be an additional fee for custom boards to cover the costs associated with obtaining the materials for your custom board. I will make every effort to keep these costs down.

I work hard to make sure that your board will be beautiful AND durable. If you have any problems with your board please convo me and let me know what is going on. Within 30 days I will be happy to repair any problems that arise and will pay for shipping both ways. After that please convo me and we can discuss your difficulty and come up with a solution.
