Announcement   Thank you for checking out my work! My name is Adam Thomas and I've been blowing glass since 2001. All work that you see is either hand blown or hot sculpted in the furnace, or lamp worked at my torch. I work out of my Detroit studio, THE JUICEBOX, which is a hot shop that I, along with my studio partner/cofounder and awesome glass blower Marc Vandenberg, built brick by brick. I specialize in Venetian gobletry, vessels and drinkware, and sculpture, and lampworking. I also welcome custom orders.
If you are interested in viewing some of my more conceptual, archived work, visit my artist page at www.adamthomasglass.com or check out my instagram for lampworked pieces.

This is a gift, and I'm sure my friend will be over the moon when she sees it. The colors are rich and the shape is perfect.

Hello shoppers! I couldn't appreciate your patronage more and strive to provide you with what you want. If you have questions about the product, or shipping methods and prices, please message me and I will get back to you as soon as possible. I welcome custom orders and pride myself on being able to sculpt or make almost anything glass. I have made a career out of glass for the past 10+ years and have my patrons to thank.
If you are wondering how or why hand blown glass is priced the way it is, please check out my instagram @adamthomasglass for glass blowing videos. The process is amazing, time consuming, and as you might imagine, HOT. Keeping a furnace at 2000 degrees requires a lot of gas and is quite expensive. In addition to the costs, some larger or complex pieces require assistants to produce, and they must get compensated as well. Glass blowing is an ancient art that requires skill, practice, and time. Glass items can be mass produced over seas by machine and sold at a cheaper price, but if that was something you wanted, you probably wouldn't be shopping on ETSY.

I love to talk glass, so if you have any questions, please ask!

Have a Beautiful Day!
Adam Thomas

Shipping
All Buyers: All orders are shipped within 3-5 days of payment and are sent via USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground. Prices reflect these shipping methods. In some instances, a less expensive shipping method may be available, however, an estimated time of arrival for the item is not available. If you wish to use this method, please message me before purchase. If you wish to upgrade to a faster delivery, please message me as well.

If actual shipping costs are significantly higher than the estimate, as in the case of larger items or remote delivery locations, I may request the difference. If this is necessary, the customer can request a non-custom order to be cancelled. Please contact me with any questions, concerns, and requests. I am happy to accommodate any special requests whenever possible.

For international buyers: Please allow up to 3 weeks for delivery, however most shipments arrive within 10 business days. The buyer is responsible for any customs incurred upon delivery. Tracking and insurance on international orders are not included in these prices and need to be purchased if required. Please message me to request a quote, as costs vary depending on destination and the weight of the parcel.
Refunds and Exchanges
All sales are final. Please, no returns or refunds.
Additional policies and FAQs
Please note that all work is hand made and will vary slightly. I will always do my best to provide a product that is accurately represented by the picture. Some postings are prototypes to be made as a custom order, and others are 1 of a kind. I would never send a piece that was not up to my expectations, but keep in mind that hand blown glass will often have signs of handmade work that some may consider imperfections. i.e. tumblers and ornaments may not be the exact same size, but they will be very close. If there is a noticeable flaw in the shape or color pattern, those items are most likely posted as an individual piece and not as "production."
