Ik heb jarenlang websites en merkidentiteiten gebouwd voor de bedrijven van anderen. Ergens in die periode viel me steeds hetzelfde op: de kunstenaars en makers met wie ik samenwerkte waren briljant in het maken van de content, maar hadden totaal geen oog voor de zakelijke kant.
Ze gokten naar de prijzen. Ze namen commissies aan op basis van een handdruk. Ze hielden de verkopen bij in een notitieboekje, of helemaal niet. Niet omdat ze onzorgvuldig waren, maar omdat niemand je een systeem aanreikt als je besluit je werk te verkopen, en het opzetten van een systeem vanaf nul is een tweede voltijdbaan.
Dus ben ik in plaats daarvan systemen gaan bouwen.
Adaptive Media Productions is mijn studio. Ik ben Kristy – een ontwerper met een achtergrond in grafisch ontwerp, branding, boekenuitgeverij en fotografie, en ik maak de praktische tools die ik zelf graag had gehad. Prijscalculators die rekening houden met je materialen, je uren en je daadwerkelijke winst. Bedrijfsplanners die je voorraad en commissies bijhouden zonder dat je een spreadsheetdiploma nodig hebt. Contracten die je kunt versturen zonder je af te vragen of je jezelf wel hebt ingedekt. En printbare documenten voor de dingen in het dagelijks leven die wel wat meer structuur kunnen gebruiken – het huishouden, de nieuwe baby, de verhuizing, de bruiloft.
Alles wat je hier vindt, is intern ontworpen, getest voordat het online gaat en gebouwd om echt bruikbaar te zijn – geen mooi PDF-bestand dat voor altijd in je downloadmap blijft staan. Als je problemen ondervindt met een bestand, stuur me dan een bericht. Ik antwoord en los het op.
HOE MIJN BESTANDEN WERKEN
Elke aanbieding is direct te downloaden. Je koopt het, je krijgt het meteen en je kunt het voor altijd gebruiken — geen abonnement, geen vervaldatum, geen account nodig. Spreadsheets kunnen worden geopend in Microsoft Excel of in het gratis Google Sheets. Printbare bestanden zijn beschikbaar in zowel US Letter- als A4-formaat, zodat ze overal correct kunnen worden afgedrukt.

I spent years building websites and brand identities for other people's businesses. Somewhere in there I noticed the same thing over and over: the artists and makers I worked with were brilliant at the making and completely underwater on the business.
They were guessing at prices. Taking commissions on a handshake. Tracking sales in a notebook, or not at all. Not because they were careless — because nobody hands you a system when you decide to sell your work, and building one from scratch is a second full-time job.
So I started building the systems instead.
Adaptive Media Productions is my studio. I'm Kristy — a designer with a background in graphic design, branding, book publishing, and photography, and I make the practical tools I wish somebody had handed me. Pricing calculators that account for your materials, your hours, and an actual profit. Business planners that track inventory and commissions without needing a spreadsheet degree. Contracts you can send without wondering whether you've covered yourself. And printables for the parts of ordinary life that need a little more order — the household, the new baby, the move, the wedding.
Everything here is designed in-house, tested before it goes up, and built to be genuinely usable — not a pretty PDF that sits in your downloads folder forever. If a file gives you trouble, message me. I answer, and I fix it.
