I am a proud mother, wife, and survivor of breast cancer. I am also an enthusiast of nature, a lover of colour and embroidery. My passion for sewing and embroidery began in my early years when I grew up alongside my aunt, a skilled dressmaker. Growing up with my aunt also exposed me to a variety of fabrics that taught me how to select the perfect fabric for each project. My favourite fabrics include embroidered lace, silk, linen, and quilting cotton. Linen lends itself beautifully to embroidery while quilting cotton is ideal for crafting various handmade treasures. Every design I create is inspired by the wonders of nature, and originality is always a top priority for me.

While I offer a diverse range of items, my primary focus lies in crafting vibrant and expressive pieces that capture one's passions. I strongly believe that everyone should have the freedom to adorn their homes and surroundings with objects that genuinely reflect their personal interests. Every individual deserves to curate a joyful space filled with items that embody their unique personality.

Not only does owning and displaying items that mirror our passions bring us happiness, but I also believe that incorporating colourful and beautiful pieces can contribute to a sense of joy. Colour is energising and colour possesses an extraordinary ability to uplift moods, and this realisation inspires me to create vivid and animated creations. Growing up in the tropical paradise of Sri Lanka, I discovered the beauty of colour, but it was in Australia that I truly understood the power of colour. Since then, I have made it my mission to bring smiles to the faces of those who acquire my creations by creating exquisite, colourful, and one-of-a-kind items. Despite life's occasional challenges, I firmly believe that everyone deserves to smile, find happiness, and feel genuinely special.

Many of my design inspirations manifest either in my dreams or during moments of relaxation, like when I'm taking a shower. I am a designer by nature and selecting the right colour combinations comes easily to me. I am also a perfectionist hence I only use high-quality fabrics sourced from top-notch quilting stores. These fabrics are washed and ironed before cutting to ensure their quality and longevity. Although occasional minor imperfections may be present, they in no way compromise the overall beauty or excellence of the final product. I use only well-known brands of embroidery threads and accessories to enhance the beauty of my items, and all pieces are created in a smoke-free, pet-free studio that is free from mass production.
