5 out of 5 starsPurchased this lovely little watercolour of the little known Colmers Hill in Dorset. The painting is just the right size for those with limited space. Very nicely painted with some lovely warm summer colours. I would recommend Ade's paintings.

5 out of 5 starsReally beautiful colours in this painting, the photos can't really do them justice on the screen, and it arrived really safely wrapped up. It's a special anniversary gift for my husband and I know he will love it.

Frequently asked questions
Why do you sell most items unframed by default?
Most of my work is in gouache or watercolour which should ideally be framed and sealed behind glass. Sending glass-glazed paintings through the post or by courier is possible, but tbh I'd rather not take the risk of damage to the painting or injury to a mail worker.
The advantage of buying my work unframed is that you can choose just the right frame to suit your budget and taste.
That said, I have now started to offer the option of frames with thin acrylic glazing. This gives you the convenience of buying a painting framed and ready to hang. So, you now have a choice :-D
Is your artwork covered by copyright?
Yes. Copyright laws here in the UK automatically apply to an artist’s original works. As soon as I create something I automatically own the copyright to it.
All of my work is classed as ‘all rights reserved’ which means that I retain the sole right to make reproductions.
When you buy my work:
a) you only own the physical piece and none of the rights to the image. Under no circumstances can you reproduce it in any medium, physical, electronic or by some, as yet, novel means of reproduction.
b) as the copyright owner I can continue to reproduce it whenever and however I choose e.g. prints, cards, posters, bookmarks etc.even though you possess the original piece.
Will you sell work as NFTs?
No, absolutely not. I can see no circumstances where I would ever release, or give permission for, any of my work to be minted as an NFT (Non-Fungible Token).
Can I get your permission to reproduce your artwork?
Requests to reproduce an image would be considered if submitted in writing, but each would be taken on merit and would be likely to attract payment of a reproduction and/or royalty fees.
