About

How Adelaide Came To Be

Many years ago, I got into card stamping. I found a specialty shop in a charming little town in southeastern lower Michigan. I picked up a lady bug stamp along with several other small stamps. The lady bug became my favorite and I named her "Adelaide D'Bugge and stamped everything with her.

Years later, I designed another Adelaide on a graphic design program and then had her digitized. I had her embroidered onto shirts, tote bags and towels. Then I decided to give her a hat so I made some changes.

So this led my daughter into getting an embroidery machine, and then another, and then another and she got tired of doing all of the stuff that I wanted, so I got my own machine and then we discovered Etsy.

On Digital downloads, we cannot refund a downloaded design but we will help with any problems that you may have. on custom orders, we will not digitize a design or graphic that was created by someone else; it must be your idea and your original design. Die lines are included with applique files. They are for use if you do not use the tack down and trim method of applique.
