From depression to kindness!
Once upon a time, there was a creative soul named Veronica. Veronica loved crafting and had an array of supplies to fuel her passion. But at one point, Veronica found herself feeling low for a couple years. You can only give your friends and family so many hand crafted items before it starts to get weird. So she decided to get rid of all her crafting materials. She couldn't find the inspiration or energy to create anything new, especially with no one to give them to.
But then, Veronica stumbled upon a group for a convention she regularly attended. They gave away items they had made as random acts of kindness. Veronica thought this was a beautiful concept and decided to make some items for the group. She found herself immersed in creating and soon began to feel more like herself again.
Over the next couple of years, Veronica continued to make items for the group. She tried different crafts, and in May of 2022, she discovered a new obsession: slime monsters. She started making tiny slime monster pets in glass bottles and showed her friend, Monica, who loved them and started helping make them. In fact, at the convention in September of 2022, they, with the Veronica's husband and daughter, gave away 1,000 of her slime monsters and received numerous compliments and suggestions that she should be selling them.
Veronica was hesitant at first, but she couldn't shake the idea of turning her passion into a business. In just two short months, her and Monica worked tirelessly to create a display for a convention in December of 2022. At the convention, the display caught the attention of many attendees. They were fascinated by her tiny slime monsters and wanted to take them home as pets. Veronica exceeded all of her goals for the convention, and she was overjoyed with the success of her new business.
Now, Veronica and Monica travel to conventions and craft shows, selling her tiny slime monsters in the artist alley. She has even expanded her collection to include different slimes, stickers, buttons, and more. Veronica is grateful for the support of her community and loves that her passion has turned into a thriving business.
