Welcome to Adornament and ocean inspired jewels by Lori Lambert featuring pure sea glass combined with fine and sterling silver. I collect sea glass on remote beaches all along the California coastline. Each piece is exactly as it was found by me and has not been shaped, tumbled, polished or treated in any way.
Sea glass is becoming more scarce with every passing day. Each piece has its own remarkable color, texture and historical mystery. The finest well-worn antique shards are 50 to 100 years old. Rare colors include amethyst, pink, aqua, cornflower and cobalt blue, yellow and red.

Lucky me and better yet, they are going to make the perfect gift. The Sea glass is smooth and vibrant. All of the sea glass is consistent in size, shape and thickness. I’ve been a treasure hunter all my life. Sea glass is my passion!
From an early age Jewelry Designer Lori Lambert was inspired by nature and grew up collecting its countless treasures. A move to the sunny coast of Southern California led to her discovery of sea glass and a passion was born!
Nature requires decades to turn broken shards of glass into beautiful gems and each piece has its own remarkable color, texture and historical mystery.
Lori loves the thrill of the hunt and discovery of every tiny gem. The growing collection inspired Lori to find a creative way to use her found treasures, and laid the foundation for Sea Glass Jewels by Adornament.
As an artist Lori uses only pure ocean tumbled sea glass hand-picked along the surf. Her jewelry is crafted with great enthusiasm and attention to detail. Designs incorporate combinations of hand drilled sea glass, sterling and fine silver, beach pebbles, pearls and gemstones.
May Lori’s joy of collection and creation carry through in the wearing of these "adornaments" from the sea.

Custom and personalized orders
Custom Orders are always welcome! I thoroughly enjoy working with my clients to create a unique, one-of-a-kind piece as a gift or for their personal collection.
Care instructions
Storing your fine and sterling silver jewelry in a container, cloth or plastic zipper bag will keep the silver looking bright. Use a silver polishing cloth or silver polish to periodically clean your sliver. Be sure to wipe jewelry with a damp cloth after cleaning and dry thoroughly. Do not clean your jewelry in an ultrasonic machine which will remove all the oxidation from the silver.
Gift wrapping and packaging
Each piece of jewelry is shipped in a teal blue cotton filled gift box. Also enclosed are cards describing the sea glass jewelry and a little bit about the artist.

What is sea glass?
Worn by the waves and recycled by the ocean, sea glass is a product of both nature and man. It begins as bottles, tableware, knickknacks, tail lights and glass used on ships; literally any type of glass carelessly tossed into the ocean or discarded on our beaches. It takes many years of pounding surf, rocky shorelines, ocean currents and sun exposure to turn rough shards into smooth and frosted jewelry quality gems. Sea glass is becoming more scarce with every passing day. Each piece has its own remarkable color, texture and historical mystery. The finest well-worn antique shards are 50 to 100 years old. Rare colors include amethyst, pink, aqua, cornflower and cobalt blue, yellow and red.
