    About AdrestiasDice

    On Etsy since 2013

It all started with a character; a tiefling sorceress who wore sundresses, because if you're going to be stuck with nothing but cloth armor you might as well be fabulous. After one session I'd fallen in love with my character and went looking for a set of dice perfect for this character... I was going to need glitter! Except what I wanted didn't exist.
After days of hunting I finally tried a last resort, I called for divine intervention and emailed several companies that make and sell dice. Most of those companies responded with silence, a few responded with open scorn. "It sounds like you're trying to market to girls" One email read "And girls don't play D&D"
Six months, and countless tests later, here we are. I'm incredibly excited to offer you all dice with serious sparkle!

    Frequently asked questions
    Custom and personalized orders

I love custom orders and will attempt to make anything happen. Send me a message and we can discuss it! If I can't do something, I might know someone that can!

    Gift wrapping and packaging

All of my dice come in a latched glass tube that you see in the product photos. If you want something special or gift wrapping just send me a message before placing your order.

Does the glitter affect the dice?

It sure does! Most dice are molded plastic that's then thrown in a rock tumbler to take down the hard edges, this leaves a lot of small scratches and dents that make your dice less balanced. By adding glitter and resin I'm actually helping to rebalance the dice. The coarse glitter does create an almost sandy texture on the dice, but most gamers have preferred that texture.

    Are your dice durable?

Of course. I'm super proud of the testing that's gone into both the balance and the durability of my dice. To test durability I threw a set of my dice in a clothes dryer for an hour... and then left the house because the noise was terrible. I inspected my dice and found no difference in quality. I've had people throw dice across stores, step on them, my dad accidentally drove over a d4 with his car last Christmas and short of destroying the whole die, the glitter hasn't flaked off, however if you do notice a chip or glitter flaking off, please don't hesitate to contact me I can either repair or replace the set for you.
