About

Fine Art Photography Prints and Canvases for the Home & Work Space.

Photography is one of the great passions in my life. I have been very lucky to have been born in to a very loving family where all forms of artistic expression were very much encouraged. Growing up my siblings and I all dabbled with art in many of it's wonderful forms, from painting to musical instruments, and it has been something that has stuck with me and that I am very thankful for.

I have always had a background interest in photography and my Dad was, and still is, a keen photographer; his old Fuji Ax-1 35 mm camera was a constant family companion throughout all of the major events of our family as I grew up, producing a great many treasured photographs. That camera was always something that I enjoyed using whenever I had the chance, but it was not until I started developing a keen interest in photography and cinema around the age of 17 that I started taking photography a bit more seriously. Picking up my very first camera, a Nikon F65, was a very happy day and as I began to use it more and more I got bitten by the shutterbug and the sickness has stayed with me since.

Some of my equipment has become a bit more sophisticated as the years have gone by but my passion for image making remains the same. Photography has proven a wonderful way of exploring the world, from the open spaces of landscape photography to the little details hidden therein. I also enjoy exploring more abstract subject matter and images with a graphical quality, exploring the interplay between lines, colour and spaces. My sister, who studied illustration to Masters level, thinks that I would probably do quite well as a graphic designer.

Selling images through Etsy has been a gratifying experience and it is a lovely feeling knowing that there are people on the other side of the world who like my photography enough to want to hang it up on their walls.

I welcome any inquiries from any potential customers and all of my images are available for licensing for commercial or editorial purposes, so please do not hesitate to get in touch with me.

Sizing details

All of the dimension options available for my photographs refer to the size of the paper that the image is printed on. All of my photographs come with a border as this allows for easier matting and framing.

All of the dimension options available for my canvases refer to the dimensions of the canvas and the image printed on to them.

Care instructions

It is highly advised that upon receiving your print that you get it framed and displayed ASAP. If a print is kept rolled up and stored in a tube for a long period of time, the memory properties of the paper means that it can tend to take on a natural curvature. This can be a bit of a headache when it comes to framing so it is advised to get the image displayed sooner rather than later.

Refrain from touching the print to avoid fingerprint marks.

For maximum longevity of your print I would advise displaying it in an area that is kept out of direct sunlight, as this can lead to hastened fading. If this is unavoidable, there is glass available for frames that has UV protection built in which can help to protect your print.
