Well made little car. It will be well lived by a boy I know. Wish I had noticed that the number was just a sticker but I will paint the birthday boys age on instead still a good buy. I love hand made toys and this is a sweet one.

About

A Brief Note About Me

I have been a professional toymaker for over 28 years now. Although, I have been making toys much longer than that. When I was very small my mother would let me have empty peach crates to make into things and she also let me have some wooden clothespins to make into toy soldiers. The results were crude but useable. In the decades between those early toys and when I took up toymaking as a trade I did a great many things, but in retrospect those years now just seem like a hiatus from my real work.

My toys are made mainly from domestic woods such as pine, basswood and poplar. I also use oak, walnut, maple and occasionally imported mahogany.

My dear wife Chris helps with painting, packaging and reminding me of things not yet done.

Click on the "Shop Website" link to your right and you can see videos of all my action toys!

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy gift cards
  • Money Order
  • Check
Payment
I accept all payments that Etsy allows, including check and money order. If payment is by check or money order, shipment will be delayed until payment clears the bank.
Shipping
All shipments are made using USPS (the Post Office.) Packages will be shipped using First Class Mail, or if heavy enough, Priority Mail. If an order is large enough I will use FedEx if there is a savings to be had.

If the postage charged by Etsy is more than a dollar over the actual shipping cost I refund the difference.
Refunds and Exchanges
Refunds are handled on a case by case basis. If you are disatisfied for what ever reason, please send me a message.
Additional policies and FAQs
If an order totals twenty or more toys I offer a 10% discount on the price of the toys. Different toys can be used to make up the total. Two exceptions to this are any of my assembled trains (like the "No Paint Special") and any locomotive costing $25.00. These items are not eligible for the discount and they do not count towards the total number of toys. If you would like the discount, please contact me before ordering.

Regarding international orders: I am more than happy to accept orders to Canada and Australia, but please contact me before ordering so I can give you an accurate estimate on shipping costs. Due to uncertainty on current Etsy policies, I can not accept orders from the European Union and the rest of the world. For this I apologize.
