Humble Beginnings....

My husband is an artist to the bone.
He opened a gallery on our farm acreage 8 years ago, and began travelling to weekend art shows.
At first I was excited to go and help with his booth set-up and sales. It reminded me of my days in the salon industry....geting all dressed up and schmoozing ~~ it was so social and oh so much fun!! I had missed that aspect in my life, as I had left that profession and started a home based business when my babies were born. I had worked at home and run a successful equestrian boarding facility for 20 years. Not the most glamorous of jobs.... but very rewarding and I did not need a gym membership! Lol.
But soon I got restless..... and had the art attack!!
On a holiday I grabbed some copper wire and bought a few drilled stones, and began the initial process of twirling and hammering!!
It was rewarding and fun to see my creations in our little gallery! Now our gallery has grown to include other guest artists, and more awesomeness! We are crazy about our communities, and often have weekend "open house" at Red Cod Forge Gallery to fundraise for our local food bank, spay/neuter clinics in our Mexican pueblos or aid for children.
