Afi Atelier started as a blog following the projects in the wonderful world of sewing and pattern making. Behind the blog is one little person. My name is Ana. Hello, nice to meet you!

I've been sewing since I was a child. But sewing was not enough. I had to know how to make everything from scratch. Since childhood, I learned to draft my own patterns, from blouses to trousers, from bags to coats. Later on, I discovered bra making. The fact that YOU can sew your own underwire bras was a revelation. And of course, it wasn't enough. I had to learn to draft them myself!

Making your own lingerie is absolutely fabulous!

Ever found yourself in a situation where you loved an item in a store:
- but the price was beyond your acceptable limit?
- but the size range does not include yours?
- but the color is not right?
- but you want it to be a bit custom (maybe lower cups, maybe a different lace)
If you make your own, the "buts" and "ifs" vanish. There are no other limits, except your creativity!

Yes, learning is scary and takes time, but our patterns are here to help you every step of the way. The goals for our patterns are clear instructions, very detailed steps and amazing illustrations for each step. Pure passion is what drives us, because we love what we do and how we do it. When creating our patterns we do not rush, we pay attention to every detail.
