1. How do I receive my journal?
It's an instant digital download. After your payment is confirmed, Etsy gives you access to the files right away. You can download them from your Etsy account under You → Purchases and reviews, or from the link in your confirmation email. No physical item will be shipped.
2. What exactly do I get?
You get 5 PDF files (47 pages in total), one for each part of the journal: In Loving Memory, Memories of You, Songs Places & Recipes, Letters & Shared Memories, and Gentle Days. You buy once and download all 5.
3. What size are the pages? Can I print on US Letter?
The files are A4. To print on US Letter, choose "Fit to page" (or "Scale to fit") in your printer settings.
4. Where can I print it?
At home on any regular printer, or at a local print shop or copy center. You can print as many copies as you need for yourself and your family.
5. Can I use it on my tablet?
Yes. The journal is designed to be printed and written by hand, but you can also import the PDFs into a note-taking app that supports PDFs (for example GoodNotes or Notability) and write on them digitally. The pages are not fillable forms.
6. Is it available in other languages?
Yes. Remembering You is available in English.
Nederlands, Español, Français and Deutsch. Each language will be listed soon.
7. Can I buy it as a gift?
Of course. You can print it, bind it, add a photo and give it in person. You can also send the files to the one person you're gifting it to, for their personal use.
8. Can I share or sell the files?
No. The files are for personal use only. Please don't resell, share publicly or redistribute them, in whole or in part. Thank you for respecting my work.
9. Can I return it or get a refund?
Because this is a digital download, I can't accept returns, exchanges or cancellations. If a file doesn't open or something doesn't look right, please message me through Etsy and I'll do my best to help.
10. Is this journal a replacement for therapy or professional help?
No. This journal is a gentle space for remembering and reflection, and it doesn't replace professional support. If your grief feels too heavy, please reach out to someone you trust, your doctor, or a local support line.
