I started writing games first as an excuse to get friends together to have a good time (and secretly introduce them to D&D), and then second as a way to bring some life into my newly perma-WFH office. The shift to working from home quickly changed our creative, lively office culture into all work and no water cooler chit-chat, which got old very quickly. Our work suffered, and so did we (dramatic but true).
Murder Mysteries were my solution to getting us goofing again, together. And it worked. Pretend murder is funny that way.
