Here you'll find a collection of items for your home, office, or self that are still too useful to retire!

We strive to offer quality, functioning items, so when we list a typewriter it will WORK, when we list a lamp it will be TESTED, when we list a fountain pen it will WRITE. We take the time to check our items so you don't have to buy them to find out for yourself that they do not work. Please keep in mind that the nature of old, pre-loved items is that they are USED, and will show to varying degrees their history. We will always describe and photo the item as best as possible so there are no surprises when you receive your item. If you are obsessed with minty-clean, maybe you should contact us for as many details and photos as you have questions for!

Once the item goes into your cart, we do expect immediate payment, or immediate communication requesting payment at a given later date.

We will accept Money Order as well, but also, please communicate this choice of payment to us, as it is not our preferred payment.

If we do NOT receive payment within 48 hours, or communication otherwise, we reserve the right to re-list the item.

The vast majority of orders will ship within 2 days of receiving payment.

We ship items via USPS standard shipping unless the buyer requests expedited shipping or if it is cheaper to send Flat-Rate. That said, we are now adding insurance and proof of delivery for all items over $50.

Shipping cost will be a combination of actual postage cost(+ Paypal fee-yes, the take a cut of the shipping cost) plus cost of any additional packaging material needed to ship the item. In the spirit of recycling, we will ship with as much used packaging materials as possible (which we often buy at a local re-use shop), but never at the expense of protecting your item in transit. That said, once your item leaves our hands at the Post Office, we can no longer be responsible for it. If this makes you uncomfortable, ask for extra services.

Buyer pays for insurance, package tracking, or expedited shipping. Please contact us before you buy if you would like to make arrangements for these extras so that we can adjust the shipping cost accordingly.

We calculate shipping cost using a digital scale & the shipping calculator on the USPS website. Once we send your item off, if we overcharged by $1 or more, we will promptly and happily refund the difference. This also applies to shipments with more than one item purchased. Please keep in mind that the cost of shipping is more than the amount you see on your postage stamp. See above.

Please contact us for international shipping cost calculations:
If you are "International", please realize that shipping is expensive for items larger than a book (for example), or larger than something going into a Flat Rate box. Most often far more expensive than the item itself! If you are in a position to pay a high shipping cost, and feel very serious, then please do ask. If you are not so serious, please do not ask. It takes lots of time to pack the item, wait in line at the Post Office to give you that exact quote. Our experience is that almost no sales result from our providing this shipping quote. We want to make you HAPPY and provide the most EXCELLENT service for you, but please do also respect our time by making sure you are seriously interested.
Refunds and Exchanges
No refunds or exchanges, an no refunds if your package is lost in the mail without insurance. If you are a stickler for minty-clean items, please read the descriptions carefully, and feel free to contact us for additional images or questions about items. Please note that all items in our shop are second-hand and thus have the general wear expected with second-hand items.
