Agoraphobix ( AKA Agoraphobic Creations)
Agoraphobix is an independent alternative clothing line started at 2003 by designer Romi Effenberger.
Self taught, I started experimenting with different designs and fabrics to make alternative streetwear clothes for girls (yup, there weren't many out there), the kind of clothes we all dreamed of owning - unique pieces that are as cool AF.
Agoraphobix started selling on ebay , when the DIY business was in diapers.
selling along great diy designers the atmosphere was amazing and the tight knit community of creative girls was just so supportive and inspiring!
A sweet place called etsy opened a few years after and I knew - that site was born for for me! I loved the DIY community and I knew that girls that love unique pieces all mixed in one would have to be my new home. I opened our shop on etsy on 2008 and with time, business grew.
I opened my own web site - www.agoraphobix.com on 2010.
5 years later I opened my very own tiny studio shop in downtown Haifa, where I design print and sew all of my collections.

I love creating alternative streetwear and performance gear with a wicked twist.
My inspirations comes from rock gods, with ods to punk, glam rock and alternative subcultures.
Every item is handmade. I love using upcycled vintage material like leather and denim as well as using salvaged fabric straight off the bolt.
I specialize in sourcing and creating insane prints, from tie dying fabric and creating printed fabrics to incorporating prints from local tattoo and graffiti artists in my designs.
My favorite technics include screen printing , sewing dying studding and laser engraving, which I use to create designs that represent the wearer at a glance and stand out in the crowd.
