Every cover here sells once, then retires for good. Your title and author name are typeset by hand and sent back to you within 24 hours.
Every cover in this shop is sold exactly once.
When you buy one, it comes down. It is never resold, never bundled, never
turned up again in a pack of two hundred. Whatever you write, the cover on it
will be yours and nobody else's — and that is the whole reason this shop
exists.
If you have shopped for a premade cover before, you know the problem. There are
covers out there selling for eleven dollars that have been bought four hundred
times. You publish, you feel good about it, and three months later somebody
posts your exact cover in a reader group under a different title. It is a
miserable feeling and it is entirely avoidable.
WHAT YOU ACTUALLY GET
Every purchase includes:
• Your full-size ebook cover at 1600 x 2560 pixels — the size Amazon KDP asks
for, and comfortably large enough for Kobo, Apple Books, Draft2Digital,
Royal Road and anywhere else you publish.
• Your title, your author name, and a series line if you want one, typeset
properly onto the artwork. Not slapped on — set with real attention to
spacing, weight and legibility.
• Four different typography treatments of your cover, so you can pick the one
that fits your book instead of taking the only one on offer.
• A greyscale version, because e-ink Kindles do not show colour and a cover
that is beautiful in colour can turn to mud in black and white.
• The plain artwork with no type on it, for banners, ads, social posts and
anything else you need.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Buy the cover you want. It retires from the shop immediately.
2. Send me a message with your title, your author name, and a series line if
you're using one.
3. I typeset it and send the finished files back, usually the same day and
always within 24 hours.
Not settled on a title yet? That is completely fine. Buy the cover to take it
off the market, and message me whenever you're ready. I will hold it as long as
you need.
TWEAKS ARE FREE
If the finished cover lands and something is not quite right — the title wants
to be bigger, the author name wants a different weight, the subtitle should say
something else — just tell me. Small changes are free and I would much rather
adjust it than have you publish something you only half like.
WRITING A SERIES?
Most of what I read is serial fiction, so this shop is built with that in mind.
If you need matching covers for books two through five, message me. A series
that looks like a series sells better than five covers that happen to sit next
to each other, and I can build the rest of the set to match the one you bought.
ABOUT THE ART
The artwork is generated with AI, then chosen, corrected and composed by a
human — me. I am not going to be coy about that, because you deserve to know
what you are buying and to make your own call about it.
What that means in practice: I generate a great deal and throw away most of it.
The ones that survive get checked for the specific things these tools get wrong
— warped hands, nonsense text hiding in the background, invented signatures,
compositions that fall apart at thumbnail size. Then the typography is done
properly, which is the part that actually decides whether a cover looks
professional or homemade.
If AI-assisted art is not for you, I completely understand, and I would rather
you know now than feel misled later.
WHY THE COVERS LOOK LIKE THIS
A cover has one job: make somebody stop scrolling. That means it has to work at
the size of a postage stamp on a phone screen, not just at full size on a
monitor. So every cover here is checked as a thumbnail and in greyscale before
it ever gets listed, and anything that turns to soup at small size does not make
the cut.
QUESTIONS
Message me before you buy. I would far rather answer three questions and sell
you the right cover than have you buy the wrong one. I reply fast, and I am a
real person, not a queue.
