This was a great buy. I enjoyed the historical information about working dresses, and the diagram of the pattern was not as difficult to copy out as I thought. It took me less than an hour, including marking out 2-inch squares on the back of wrapping paper! It is only one size, but I don't think it would be too difficult for the sewer to adjust to other sizes if required. Going to have a practice go with an old duvet cover before I order 7 metres of fabric to make a "nice" dress! Great pattern, thank you.

Nice write up but the pattern doesn’t give much in way of alteration for different sizes if you’re a beginner. But I’ll figure it out and work with it! Worth it for just the historical information alone

Well written and clear instruction. I always dread decorating my hats. So this helps me tremendously! I will be buying more of your tutorials in the future.

Amazing reproduction redingote! The hand sewing is great and the piece was clearly constructed with care and love. It looks AMAZING on! Fit is perfect on me. I'm very excited to wear this! And thank you for the lovely packing and fast shipping. Much appreciated!
