The historical part is very interesting to read, but the pattern itself is merely a small hand-drawn sketch on grid paper. However, for this price it is still a good deal.

Haven't done it yet, but for someone like me who is still a beginner, I find the instructions very clear and it is easy to understand the steps to complete this beautiful dress.

The videos were very informative, but did not show the entire process and the sewing was sometimes a bit out of frame. If you are expecting videos in the same quality as popular youtubers, you will be disapointed. If you just need a little handholding as from a FaceTime call with a friend, this is really great.

Read the description before buying!!!! The item is as described with some great information, examples, and proportion guides. I have not used it yet as I apparently need a new dressform (I still love my dog). This is a well-assembled guide. This seller is on my short list of favorites.

It looks lovely and I'm looking forward to wearing it. I was a little disappointed in the ties. I've traded out the bottom one for a much longer cotton cord, and will likely trade out the top ones at some point, too, as I'm really not a fan of the satin rattail cord. Overall, this is going to look so good under my Regency necklines, and I'm excited to have it.
