The photo of the insect I purchased had an opalescent sheen to it, and the one received does not. I understand they're obviously different insects, but I purchased partly due that coloring.

Already as a kid I explored the nature surrounding our holidayhouse. Seeing a deer in the morning, going fishing at 5am with the fog still over the water.. my first observation of a kingfisher... still a few of my best memories..
During my travels for birdwatching, i became very interested in insects too ... Once you will see your first morpho butterfly in flight , you will understand me..
I was in London in Covent garden more then 25 years ago and there was a vendor selling insectframes .. i couldn't believe what I saw and I immediately told my wife .. this is what I wanna do... and so it started..

Shop policies
We work according our inspiration and creativity. Feel free to ask us your specific requests on colors, sizes , shapes for custom made frames.
We use NO protected species !! Many of these insects are bred specimen, for the specific use of artworks. All other insects are wildcollected but this will in NO WAY endanger or harm the population. Deforestation and destroying of habitat is the main cause and this need to be prevented in any possible way.
With these frames we want to show the beauty of nature and to convince everybody we should protect our natural treasures.
