Absolutely perfect! None of that synthetic stuff that doesn’t keep your fingers warm. Plus! They are beautifully well made in Alaska.

About

A Piece of Wearable Art to Keep Your Hands Toasty Warm

Dear Customer!

I am a graphic designer by trade, but I also like to dabble in other creative projects — like making mittens. Making wool sweater mittens takes many hours: From finding the wool sweaters, and felting the material, to cutting out all mitten parts; from sketching the design on paper and then cutting out all those pieces to create templates; from cutting out the felt for the appliqué work, and machine sewing the felt pieces that make the design, to hand-stitching the cuff and sewing on buttons. But making pretty mittens makes me happy. And it makes me even more happy to see that I create a smile on a customer's face. Some customers ask for a personal, custom design: I've created mittens for a Siberian Husky breeder & musher, for a mother who loves to Nordic ski with her son, for a lady who likes to ski with her Black Lab, for a girl who likes to pick salmonberries on the tundra, for an Aurora chaser... What would be your favorite thing you'd like to see on your custom pair of designer mittens?

Greetings from Talkeetna, Alaska!
