¡Hola a todos! Mi nombre es Shell y soy el fundador y propietario de Earthly Basis. Mi hijo mayor, que tiene mucho talento y comparte mi amor por la creación de joyas, se unió recientemente al equipo de Earthly Basis. Se ha concentrado en la arcilla polimérica y, más recientemente, en la resina y el macramé. En cuanto a mí, comencé con arcilla hace muchos años y luego comencé a envolver alambre en 2018. Hace unos años comencé a trabajar con latón, cobre y plata esterlina. ¡La orfebrería se ha convertido en una de mis pasiones! ¡Y por supuesto, cristales! Me han fascinado los cristales desde que tengo uso de razón, así que, naturalmente, me encanta incluirlos en mis creaciones con la mayor frecuencia posible. La mayor parte, si no toda, nuestra inspiración proviene de esta hermosa Tierra en la que vivimos. ¡No hay mejor artista que la Madre Naturaleza!
Hello everyone! My name is Shell, and I am the founder and owner of Earthly Basis. My eldest son, who is beyond talented and shares my love of creating jewelry, has recently joined the Earthly Basis team. He has been concentrating on polymer clay, and most recently, resin and macrame. As for myself, I started out with clay many years ago, then started wire wrapping in 2018. A few years ago I started working with brass, copper and sterling silver. Metalsmithing has become such a passion of mine! And of course, crystals! I have been fascinated by crystals for as long as I can remember, so naturally, I love to include them in my creations as often as possible. Most, if not all of our inspiration comes from this beautiful Earth that we live on. There is no great artist than Mother Nature!
