Alicia Marie Wyatt currently resides in the picturesque state of Colorado and is inspired by her time spent hiking in nature as well as strolling around the neighborhood. Because art has the powerful ability to connect people to the natural world and to each other, she wants her art to help others become fascinated with nature too.
Often her work is a mix of art and science. She uses art as a tool for exploration, observation, story telling, and scientific communication. Her fine art work focuses mostly on the process while her illustrations focus on precise information with quirky details.
She is currently pursuing a Botanical Illustration Certificate at the Denver Botanic Gardens where she hopes to expand her skill set and meet others in this field.
