Alison Petrie, fondatrice di The Alison Gordon Studio (AGS - 'Gordon' dal nome di suo padre), ha oltre 10 anni di esperienza nel settore della moda. È una leader appassionata che ha un talento per rendere visioni complesse in progetti ponderati, unici e che stimolano il business. Le sue fondamentali comprensioni del design completano il suo istinto in tutte le questioni di gusto e brio. Combina originalità e capacità di design ben affinate per sfruttare il suo fascino senza tempo.
Alison si è laureata alla Parson's School of Design con una laurea AAS in Fashion Design, nel 2008. Mentre era a New York, ha avuto l'opportunità di lavorare con designer di fama internazionale (Michael Kors, Proenza Schouler e Pink Tartan). Al suo ritorno a Toronto, Alison ha ricevuto diverse posizioni di design creativo presso società affermate tra cui Flare Magazine, Holt Renfrew e NKPR. Durante il suo incarico lavorativo presso NKPR, Alison ha fornito la direzione creativa per marchi di moda e bellezza, come Tweezerman, Jones New York, Liu Jo, Jacqueline Piron, Zwilling, OGX, Rudsak e Sears. Alison ha anche prodotto opere d'arte per la popolare serie per bambini Mimi & Chloe dell'autrice Imma Morcinelli-Hanna, e ha lavorato come collaboratrice della narrativa satirica, Forgotten Fashion, di Kate Hahn.
Alison ha lanciato Alison Gordon Studio per condividere il suo amore per la moda e l'arte. The Shop offre un assortimento creativo di articoli di cancelleria e gallery art per ogni amante della moda. Tutti i pezzi sono confezionati con amore e sperano che i suoi clienti traggano la stessa gioia di riceverlo come lei lo ha creato.

Alison Petrie, founder of The Alison Gordon Studio (AGS - 'Gordon' named after her father), has over 10 years of fashion industry experience. She is a passionate leader who has a knack for rendering complex visions into thoughtful, unique and business boosting designs. Her fundamental design understandings compliment her instincts in all matters of taste and panache. She combines originality and well-honed design skills in order to harness her signature timeless appeal.
Alison graduated from Parson’s School of Design with a AAS degree in Fashion Design, in 2008. While in New York, she has had the opportunity to work with internationally known designers (Michael Kors, Proenza Schouler and Pink Tartan). Upon returning to Toronto, Alison was awarded several creative design positions at established corporations including Flare Magazine, Holt Renfrew and NKPR. During her work tenure at NKPR, Alison provided creative direction for fashion and beauty brands, such as Tweezerman, Jones New York, Liu Jo, Jacqueline Piron, Zwilling, OGX, Rudsak, and Sears. Alison has also produced artwork for the popular children’s series Mimi & Chloe by author Imma Morcinelli-Hanna, and operated as a contributor to the satirical fiction, Forgotten Fashion, by Kate Hahn.
Alison launched Alison Gordon Studio to share her love of fashion and art. The Shop offers a creative assortment of stationery and gallery art for any fashion lover. All pieces are packaged with love and hope that her customers will get as much joy out of receiving it as she had creating it.
