Love these really quirky fabric plants. Fast delivery and great communication with the seller. I had a slight issue with my order but Alison dealt with it promptly and satisfactorily. This was the 2nd fancy plant I've ordered and I fear I'm slightly addicted!

Really lovely, carefully packaged and such a clever and unique idea, great for someone environmentally conscious who's tough to buy a gift for!

Such a wonderful idea and a beautiful work of art! This has been purchased as a gift and I can’t wait to give it. The quality of the plant is excellent, everything finished perfectly and such vibrant colours.

Gorgeous and unique! My friend loved this gift--I wish it was for myself. Seller very kindly hand delivered the plant to my house (and refunded my postage) as we live in the same town, which is above and beyond customer service. very pleased, I will have to buy one for myself at some point :)
Fabric , Paper & Fancy Plants
A Garden Designer for over 30 years, nature and plants have always been important to me. In 2010 I went on holiday to Switzerland and discovered the art of 'Scherenshnitte', paper cutting and decided to give it a go. My first attempt was to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary ( see photo) after getting lots of compliments, and requests for commissions I decided to look into getting my work laser cut . With the help of my son and his technical Knowledge, we managed to transfer a hand cut design into a file that could be laser cut and Hey Presto Delicut was launched.
Living in France for 5 years, I opened a little shop in the pretty town of Montmorillon ,Poitou Charente (see photo) and sold my papercut designs and handmade bags.
I have always loved fabrics and sewing and so when we moved to Derbyshire I decided to start creating fabric plants my 'Fancy Plants' (see photo) are created from upcycled and vintage fabrics.
I spend my time in my little studio alternating between sewing and paper cutting and sell my creations in a Gallery called 'Artcore' (see photo) in Derby and Craft fairs around the country( but not at the present time due to Covid 19).
I am re launching my Etsy Shop AlisonsDelicut to try to get back on track with selling online. I hope you like my work anf thank you for reading my story.
