AllCountryPretties' Shop Announcement

This year is dedicated to my Grandmother, Sarah Ellen Kelley Smith. She had 8 children and still managed to make enough quilts that most of her descendants inherited one of her handmade, hand quilted quilts.

As I endeavor to use up my stash in patchwork pretties, this I do in remembrance of her.

Grandma's Quilts

It was a time of Calico days
When Grandma worked her magic ways
With gingham and muslin and a little lace
Grandma's hands made my quilt with wondrous grace
With sacks from the feed She made their clothes
Then saved the pieces for the days of snows
When quietly with gingham and muslin and a little lace
Grandma's hands made my quilt with an artist's grace
Grandma's world was serene a sign of her time
And the memories in my quilt bring serenity to mine

As always, I am reclaiming, recycling and reworking for eco friendly items. I am still on a quest to use my stash and vintage quilt tops for ooak items.

Don't forget the hand painted cast iron decorative home décor items.

I list items that are ready to ship and will ship most times 1 day after receipt of payment. Paint drying takes about 2 days :). Most items I make from vintage fabrics, crochet and embroidery are OOAK. Hats, scarves, totes, reconstructed clothing and bags made especially for you!

Fashions and accessories added daily.

Got to get busy with more pretties. Bye for now, Glenda
