Announcement   All Fired Up in Florida sells handcrafted pottery and fused glass on Etsy. We are pleased to provide you with unique, hand-crafted glass and clay functional art at reasonable prices. I had been doing ceramics for a number of years as a hobby. Along the way, I added fused glass and when it was time for a career change, I moved into the clay and glass arts full time and love the decision I made. I have a dual purpose kiln to do both glass and ceramics work and I have a glass only kiln. I love experimenting so I'm always creating new items based on successful experimentation.

If you want more than one of an item, it's best to get it made at the same time as no two items made at separate times ever look like twins or triplets. Kiln temperatures and application of glazes changes each time I create. I strive to make beautiful things that are useful and affordable. I do custom orders and am always happy to hear from you.

If you purchase more than one item. Please convo me before placing your order so we can discuss shipping. It's possible I can fit more than one item in a box and we can reduce the cost of shipping depending on the items ordered. Our goal is to offer our ceramics/pottery and glass to you as affordable as possible so more people can share in our creative visions.

****PLEASE NOTE**** All custom orders take 3 to 4 weeks to ensure you receive a top quality item and enough time to order special custom materials needed to create the item that are not normally in stock.

Very pretty and a nice size! Will be able to fit any sort of cooking spoon, spatula, etc. I got this as a mother's day gift, I'm sure my mom will love it.

About

From Mother to Daughter and down

I learned ceramic arts from my mother. It was a wonderful way to share time and an outlet for creative expression. I am more experimental now than in my younger days. This experimentation is what creates some of the most interesting pieces and so many are one of a kind. If you want a pair they should be made at the same time. The length of time and the temperatures of the kiln firing, application of the glaze or underglaze, and sometimes remembering what colors glaze I used are all reasons that I cannot replicate exactly any of my pieces that have already been done. Because of my love of ceramics, I have begun to teach my daughter and even my young grandsons. It amazed me how capable they were at handling the delicate greenware.

Glass has been a new endeavor for me. I've been learning new things along the way from experts willing to share their knowledge with me when I'm stumped and using every bit of knowledge I've been able to glean. I work with only 96 COE glass because it is easier than maintaining too large an inventory and allowed me to work with the hand rolled Uroboros glass. Glass is where my daughter's interest lies, so don't be surprised to see a creation or two from her in glass highlighted in All Fired Up In Florida.

Shipping is expensive folks and ceramics and glass are heavy. I ship everything priority mail to avoid breakage and provide insurance against breakage. If you order multiple items, convo me so I can try to pack them in advance and try to save you money. If you are local to the Clearwater area, you are free to pick the item up and pay no shipping - convo me first so I set it up as a custom order without shipping.

While my work is clay and glass, I also love photography for my playtime. I also love spending time with my 3 favorite little guys. Their favorite place is the beach when they come to visit, so I spend a lot of time at the beach either playing with the boys, collecting seashells or taking beautiful photos of the natural world.
