Vintage worth loving again
Vintage came into my life without me ever realizing its arrival. As a child, shopping at thrift stores was just as normal as shopping in a department store. What I came to realize was that at times the quality of the items in thrift stores had a tendency to surpass the quality of the items in the department stores; especially for the price. What I didn't realize was that the items that were better, were also of a different era.
I provide you with awesome vintage clothing, shoes, accessories and home décor from the 1980s and before. I only list items that can be considered good to mint condition. I machine wash, hand wash and polish every item that can withstand these methods of cleaning. If an item cannot undertake this type of cleaning then I will air the item out (no febreeze, just good old fashioned clean air), and this will be noted in the listing.
If an item needs repair, like mending seams, buttons and the like, then I will provide this service before an item is listed. If an item cannot be repaired by me I will make note of this in the listing.
One thing you can be assured of is that at some point in time these vintage items have been loved by their original owners; each to varying degrees. But this is part of the allure of vintage, isn't it? To find a pre-loved item and to love it once more.
The quality of many vintage items far surpass much of what is sold today. I find it truly amazing to find vintage that is in better condition than what I personally purchased within my lifetime.
Below is a rating system for the vintage items I sell in my little shop.
Mint: As new. No wear or flaws
Excellent: Preciously worn or used. No notable flaws.
Very good: Worn. Minimal noted flaws. Needs no repair
Good: Visible wear, noted minor flaws.
Fair: Numerous flaws. Needs repair. Can be upcycled or repurposed
Poor Damaged beyond repair. Can be upcycled or repurposed

I typically ship with USPS by First Class and Priority mail. Items that are under 13 oz. will be shipped by First Class. Items over 13 oz. will be shipped by Priority mail. First class ranges between 2-5 business days and Priority ranges between 2-3 business days. Of course there are always exceptions that could speed up or delay shipment, depending upon factors such as, holidays, weather and the USPS' methods of transportation.
International customers are very welcome! I provide the same service to international customers as I do with U.S. customers. The only difference lies with shipping carrier guidelines. USPS allows for First Class packages to exceed the 13 oz. weight limit set for U.S. First Class packages, so many international shipments will be shipped by USPS First Class mail. International packages over 4 lbs. will need to be upgraded to Priority mail due to First Class international weight restrictions.
Items will be shipped either in USPS provided packages, store bought packages, or excellent condition used packages. I definitely strive to send packages in excellent used condition boxes if at all possible (I love the Earth!). These boxes are all brown cardboard boxes, I do not, under any circumstances use retail boxes (like kitchen appliance or shoe boxes). I do not believe these boxes are at all suitable for assuring the protection of the vintage items I sell.
Upgrades such as expedited shipping and insurance are always an option for both U.S. and international customers. Customers will need to fund the costs of these additional options before shipment is complete. If a customer has a preferred shipping carrier then please notify me and I will do what I can to complete the request.

Refunds and Exchanges
Shipping costs associated with refunded items are the customer's responsibility.
If the item qualifies for a refund, the customer must contact me within 7 days of receiving their package. After this time period refunds will not be granted.
