The colours are so vibrant but in the same time do not look as artificial as on the photo. Simply perfect!

Not sure, what I will do with these locks, but I could not resist this colour. Looks amazing in person, too.

About

Living and Loving the Alpaca Lifestyle

Since a very young girl, I have enjoyed working with my hands. I have explored many different crafts including but not limited to sewing, quilting, drawing, painting, woodworking, decorating, and fabric art collage. I entered the world of fiber art when we began raising alpacas in 2002 beginning with spinning, then knitting, crocheting, dyeing, and felting. I love working with alpaca fiber and I always have more than one project in the works at a time.

I was born in Galion, Ohio, where I graduated from high school, and then from Ashland College, where I earned a B.S. in Clothing Fashion Merchandising, minors in fine art and business. I am married with four children and five grandchildren. I feel so blessed to be doing what I do, to have the privilege of raising such beautiful animals, and the added bonus of a job that lets me be creative as I explore the many different ways to use the luxurious fiber of alpacas.

We call our farm Alpaca Meadows and it is in Mansfield, Ohio. In addition to my Etsy shop, we have a website, farm blog, and online store at www.alpacameadows.com. We have a Farm Store and Fiber Studio at the farm open Saturdays from 12pm-5pm and by appointment. We offer a variety of Fiber Art Classes and Farm Tours for groups.

Enjoy your visit!

Welcome to my shop and thank you for visiting! The items listed, be it raw fleece, rovings, yarn, or handcrafted items, are produced from the fleeces of our very own herd and reflect a year's work of tending alpacas, keeping them healthy and happy. I feel blessed every day to have the opportunity to raise these beautiful creatures and work with their luxurious fiber. Hope you enjoy looking around!
