5 out of 5 starsThis lightweight, but warm hat has all the qualities I love about baby alpaca. It’s stretchy, and exceptionally soft. I would buy it again. Thanks!

5 out of 5 starsI absolutely love the saddle pad I got. Truly one of a kind and sure to last a lifetime. I am super impressed with the quality and wish they had more in the English style that I got. Looks beautiful under my dressage saddle. I was worried about how thick the batting would be, but now that it has arrived I am relieved that it is constructed just as any saddle pad from a larger company would be. The price tag was a little higher than I would normally be willing to spend but I have no regrets. Make more so I can buy them for my trail riding friends as gifts!

5 out of 5 starsMy first purchase of Alpaca dryer balls (used sheep's wool previously) and they are very high quality. The seller answered my question and shipped my order out super fast. I didn't have them in hand for more than 10 minutes before they were put to use with great results.

A Heritage of Swiss Precision and Excellence Making Warm and Fuzzy Friends
Alpenwood Alpaca Farm resides in the beautiful Southern Minnesota prairies, on a piece of land that -famously- used to be wide open cornfields. Hans Trechsel, a Swiss native who moved to the area over 50 years ago planted hundreds of evergreen trees on this land. These trees stand strong and proud, to this day. His dream was to recreate the Alpine woodlands he so loved as a young boy, for himself and for his family and community to enjoy. His daughter, Laurie Trechsel, established Alpenwoods Alpaca farm to honor the legacy of this place, it's people and all of its creatures, great and small.
Alpenwood's mission is to provide the highest quality fleeces to the small but enthusiastically growing North American alpaca-goods market. We cooperate with other farmers, fleece-processors and knitters to produce absolutely gorgeous and uniquely functional garments, yarns, felting and spinning supplies. Alpaca fleece products are as beautiful as they are durable and ecologically sustainable. We are so proud to be a part of this community.
