Algumas pessoas visitam os Alpes. Eu me mudei para cá.
Vivo no Vale de Aosta, rodeado pelos picos mais altos da Europa Ocidental — o Matterhorn, o Mont Blanc, o Gran Paradiso. Esquio neles no inverno, escalo-os no verão e caminho por entre eles sempre que posso. As montanhas não são um pano de fundo para mim. São a razão de eu estar aqui.
A Alpineline Print nasceu desse cotidiano em altitude — da qualidade particular da luz em uma face norte pela manhã, da geometria das cristas vistas milhares de vezes e ainda assim impossíveis de assimilar. Cada estampa desta coleção é minha tentativa de destilar um cume em sua forma essencial: limpa, ponderada e fiel ao que torna aquele pico inconfundível.
Estas não são estampas de montanhas genéricas. Cada desenho é inspirado em um lugar real que conheço, criado com o tipo de atenção que só se consegue estando lá pessoalmente.

I live in the Aosta Valley, surrounded by the highest peaks in Western Europe — the Matterhorn, Mont Blanc, the Gran Paradiso. I ski them in winter, climb them in summer, and walk through them every chance I get. The mountains are not a backdrop for me. They are the reason I am here.
Alpineline Print was born from that daily life at altitude — from the particular quality of light on a north face in the morning, from the geometry of ridgelines seen a thousand times and still impossible to get used to. Each print in this collection is my attempt to distil a summit into its essential form: clean, considered, and honest to what makes that peak unmistakable.
These are not generic mountain prints. Every design is rooted in a real place I know, drawn with the kind of attention you can only develop by actually being there.
