5 out of 5 starsThis belt loop has succeeded expectations big time. The leather quality is amazing, the tone of the leather is amazing, and even the quality of the snap is amazing. Not to mention I love the color of the black snap. This will most definitely be on my wallet and chain for life. The quality is that good.

About AlsakerCustomLeather
It all started with an old worn dirty saddle.
In 2010 I knew nothing about working with leather. My wife went to a swap meet to look at used horse tack. She returned home with an old Simco saddle that was covered in dust, dirt, and cobwebs. The leather was dry and the stitching was torn out in several places. She placed the poor dilapidated saddle on a saddle rack in the middle of our living room (our living room serves as a second tack room). She looked and me with her big loving eyes and ask, "You can fix it for me, right?"
Thus began my adventure in leather work. I started researching how to properly clean, condition, and repair old saddles. I read every article and watched every video I could find online. We worked together and got that old Simco back into great shape. The 4-H kids still use it today.
The beautiful custom leather pieces I saw online while doing my saddle restoration research stirred a fire in me. I made myself a few small leather pieces and a holster based off what I'd seen online. I was just having fun and had no idea I was getting ready to embark on an amazing journey. My passion for making premium leather turned into an obsession. Starting my own business had been in my bucket list for more than a decade, this seemed like the perfect opportunity to give it a shot.
I owe my success to a supportive family, loyal friends, and customers who are willing to take a chance on a little maker from no-where Wisconsin.
Thank you for checking out my work.

Owner, The One Who Does Everything
It's just me, myself, and I. No one else. I started working with leather in 2010. I love working with leather and spending time in my shop. Since everything that leaves the shop has my name on it, nothing leaves unless I'm proud to have made it.
Shop policies
I use the highest quality materials. I use premium native steer hides from Hermann Oak Leather Co., considered one of the finest tanneries in the world. I do not use any imported, economy, or utility grade hides.
