About AlsobrookArtworkShop

Sales 300
On Etsy since 2016

Handmade sculpture, ceramics, paintings & more for the person looking for something original

Handmade fine art supplier and cultural exchange initiative that bridges Eastern & Western cultures through the visual arts, particularly the United States, China, & Korea.

AlsobrookArtworkShop began in 2005 as an idea in Bowling Green, Ohio, where I, Rob Alsobrook-Shop Owner, and a friend started to use an abandoned school building as an art studio during grad school that served as a concept which grew into an international exchange platform in Yanji, China that borders North Korea & Russia.

During my time in Asia I learned that arts & crafts are truly global languages as I met some profoundly talented artists in China, Korea, & Russia despite geo-political differences from our home countries. I choose to focus on aspects of shared interests with those in other countries and walks of life such as the arts to build global friendships, rather than focus on differences.

It is my hope to represent and provide artwork that can be enjoyed and used everyday and that also bridges folks together.

So know that by purchasing artwork here, you're also facilitating in cultural exchange initiatives in Asia & in the U.S.

Just an artist trying to support his family and serve people by selling good art. If making good art was easy, this would be an easier job.
