About

Hand-painted, Altered & Revived. A rare limited fashion collection, each piece created one by one

My name is Brian Cresson. I was born October 11th 1983 in Hoffman Estates Illinois, a western suburb of Chicago.

I spent most of my life in the Chicago area while summers were spent in north-central rural Wisconsin. I started expressing my surroundings at a very young age as I was always inspired by the Midwestern landscape, structures and culture.

Inspiration blossomed as I moved to Sedona Arizona in 2006. I quickly embraced the desert surroundings and studied deeply into the ancestral heritage and history of the land.

My evolution in art and culture continued as I arrived in Phoenix in 2009 and my lifetime collection of influences artistically converged. My work was immediately intrigued by the evolving complexity of urban street art. I saw a great opportunity to take this art to another level of multi-layered expression. I began a process of collecting weathered found wood, applying layers of acrylic paint and soil, creating depth with soft pastel and other media, and then finishing with a unique hand-made stencil.

My work took a natural change of medium as I started painting on my clothing as an advertisement. I began collecting vintage clothing, hand-painting Native American-inspired designs and then hand-cutting the garment into a fully revived piece of wearable art.

My art is continuously evolving in technique and composition as is the industry around me. I look forward to my career as an artist & designer and to my role on the forefront of up and coming art and fashion.
