Absolutely loved Amatistrad. Bought these earrings for a girlfriend's birthday. They shipped overnight to her office, which was great because I missed her actual birthday (bad friend I know). She received nothing but constant compliments on these gorgeous baubles!!! I know I will be ordering all my GF's gift from this designer again. So amazing! LOVE! LOVE! LOVE!

Fun-time Pastime Turned Second Job

I was always into making jewelry. In the '80's I played with friendship bracelets, in the '90's I was hemp-inspired, and in the '00's I was ALL about the seed beads. You could say I'm now entering my "golden age," playing with precious metals and semi-precious stones.

My appreciation for all art forms resonates in my work, inspired by poetry, visual art, music...or sometimes I am just moved by the natural beauty of an object or material.

I love creating jewelry. I love working with people to create a piece that they will wear over and over again. <3

I began playing around with wire-wrapping in 2010, when a work colleague asked if she could purchase a piece I was wearing. Isn't it amazing how one day you can be doing something for fun, and the next you're doing it for the benefit of a business? That first inquiry lead to starting a little side business and I am loving every minute of it!

What does Amatistrad Jewelry hold in its future? I would love to learn how to inlay wood! As soon as I find a class to learn how to do this, you'll be able to purchase a design I've had in my head for over a year!

Good things come to those who wait ;-)

I have been playing around with jewelry since the 1980's (friendship bracelets!) and have worked my way into bead work and wire-wrapping. I would love to realize a design by learning how to inlay wood - my next project! :-)
