Announcement   I grew up in the Adirondack Park practically on the Vermont border. Earned a BA from Windham College, Putney, Vermont and an MA from the University Of Wyoming.

Started using my parents Brownie when I was a kid, then an Instamatic in high school. In college my roommie in need of some cash sold me all his camera/darkroom equipment and I was off., spending hours in the darkroom we built in the old root celler of the house we were renting.

Over 1200 images have been published/appeared in wide array of publications such as Southwest Art, Sierra, Wyoming Wildlife magazines, Photographer’s Forum’s 1985 and 1992 Best of Photograph annuals, Vermont Magazine, Vermont Life Publications, , Jackson Hole Magazine , as well as many others.

I worked on several photography projects in the last 40+ years but it's the one I did not take a photograph that was the longest most time consuming, hardest but most gratifying assignment called the Centennial Images: Wyoming.

It was an official sanctioned/sponsored project of the state sponsored Wyoming Centennial celebration in 1989. It took me three years to raise the funding(thanks Fuji USA and others), recruit 55 of the best photogs in Wyoming(it's a big state, lots of road miles), to get to the opening exhibit of the juried 50 framed images at the Wyoming Statehouse. The final 50 were selected by Pulitzer winning Photo Editor of the Anchorage Daily News(Richard Murphy, former Photo Editor of the Jackson Hole News), out of the 12,000 images shot on that one day. Think Wyoming version of the Day In the Life project. Coordinated the year-long tour around the state(12 cities and towns) and finally donating the exhibit to the Wyoming State Museum in Cheyenne.

My photographs have been exhibited by the Nicalaysen Museum, Wyoming Gallery, Old West Museum, Darkroom Gallery, Burlington Festival of the Arts, Artisans Gallery, Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival, Vermont Arts Festival and the Trappengallerie in St. Gallon, Switzerland, Just to name a few.

I shoot a wide variety of subjects most known for my landscapes of the American West and New England.

First magazine cover was in 1982, received a Pacemaker Award from the Wyoming Press Association in 1992 and in 2007 earned a Editors Choice Award from ISP(International Society of Photographers.

This is an absolutely gorgeous photograph of a friends home by Phil Bobrow. I ordered a copy as a gift to the home owners and they were thrilled. Phil guided me through the process, enlarged the original, mounted it and delivered quickly. Excellent service every step to completion.
