Incredible radio whose restoration goes beyond, beyond....a masterpiece! It gets far better reception at my house (live above 6500 feet in the mountains) than my more modern transistor radio. Packaged well and sent expeditiously. Thank you very much!

Woohoo! Once I figured out how it works and put it by the window in my 60s themed sewing room, I got really happy! I was so excited to find this in new condition and at a fair price. Greg is a wonderful seller and packed the item very carefully. Thanks so much!
I enjoy restoring vintage American tube table radios from the late 1930s - 1950s.
I began developing an appreciation for American styled radios when attending a Triple Pier Antique Show on Manhattan's west side sometime in the 1999-2000 year period. As I was strolling along the aisles I noticed a dealer selling a Bulova, Model 100, clock radio originally manufactured in the late 1950s. The gold trim especially caught my eye. The radio was a beautiful piece of design work. It could look well and fit into a room with the right decor. After the dealer advised me that the radio worked, we negotiated a price that made both of us happy and I was on my way. Once I took the radio home I began to research the hobby and repair of these lovely American gems. In short time I found a few local radio clubs and attended meetings, swap meets, and learned about repair. Particularly, I find the art deco styled radios most attractive.
Over the course of my life I have collected different objects, but find these radios visually offer me artistic beauty and internally offer much self reward and satisfaction after restoration. When I bring back from the dead one of these radios and hear it play, it is music to my ears.
