The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Returns and exchange details
I try my best to provide an accurate and honest description of my items. Please keep in mind that most of them are vintage and will therefore show some normal signs of age and use; some items may have stains, nicks, fading or other wear. Please read carefully and view the pictures as all sales are considered final. If you feel there has been an noticeable error in the description, send me a message and we'll see what can be done to work it out.

If you choose to return an item, you will be fully refunded for the cost of the item as soon as I receive it back in good condition. Shipping costs cannot be refunded as they will have been (naturally) consumed by the postal system.

PLEASE NOTE: Many items for sale have been found at estate or other used venues. Although they may have been cleaned and/or laundered, please be aware that this does not guarantee that there is not the possibility of residual odors from their original households, especially if absorbent such as paper or cloth. Buyer should be aware of this if age, pets, storage dust, smoke or any other unavoidable odors is an issue. Please keep this in mind when making purchase. If I note an unusually noticeable odor, I will always try to include that in the description.
Payment
The Amiable Leaf accepts PayPal, credit cards via Direct Checkout, Etsy Gift Cards and Money Orders. Please be aware payment by money order may mean delayed shipping. I'm sorry, but I do not accept personal checks at this time.

If a money order is overly delayed, I will make reasonable attempts to contact you. I may need to cancel your sale and report an unpaid item. Thanks for your understanding.
Shipping
Most items will ship via USPS First Class Mail, Standard (Parcel Post), or Priority. Books will normally be sent USPS Media. Some of my packing materials and packaging may be recycled, but my priority will always be safely packing your item for transit. Your item should be shipped within 3 business days of payment clearing.

I will calculate shipping for other countries on request, just send me a message. No International shipping in December. Please be aware international shipping rates have gone up. I do not offer express or overnight shipping.

If you think your package is lost or has been damaged in transit, please contact me and we'll work it out.
