Announcement   Anangka Arts provides printed magick. As an artist and a witch, I teeter on the fringes between art and fetish. Material, like seeds and human hair, often find their way into my work. Collage, a ready medium, works like the Jungian sand tray as I cut and paste—these images unfold in their own archetypal synthesis. In the recreation of such mythos, I am the medium for the collective unconscious. Along with pen and ink, I employ a technique called “pencil painting.” I also work in charcoal, assemblage mixed media sculpture, and the lost art of relief printmaking.

My greeting cards are printed by the certified P.A.C.E (Partners for a Clean Environment), local, sustainable and independent printer, Copy Experts. They use 100% wind power, quality recycled papers and aim at re-forestation (aggressive South American tree planting) and 90% waste diversion. My original collages use at least 75% upcycled materials (old magazines, books, calendars, broken fairy lights, lost beads, fabric scraps, doll parts, stale seeds, and other found, lost, broken, misprinted, neglected, abused, thrown out and/or dumpster-dived objects). My fine art prints, are not as environmentally savvy BUT are museum quality, archival Giclees. I currently have a few prints created using earth "friendlier" materials, which are also vegan. Please contact me if you need a vegan order.

Thanks for looking and for buying handmade! We simply can't afford not to in this day and age! Contact me if you'd like to trade. Blessed be!

Solid, quality magnet - the seller goes above and beyond to send with style. It was as though I was receiving a care package from a dear, old friend.

Usually I get the wonderful stickers to seal envelopes. But I'm so happy for this new item! The colors are vivid and it makes ordinary coaster into beautiful art and friends ask about it all the time! Thank you!

My favorite stickers to seal envelopes. They make me and my friends feel special! Not only because we support artists... and this shop has a great artist who puts her imagination into magic drawing, collage and words. I feel these are my little tokens to share with friends to gain access to the special world of the shop. My favorite items, the stickers. I run out of them about twice a year!

I have bought at least 3 different orders/batches of stickers from this shop over the past few years. My favorite. Great for marking calender days. Great for gift wrapping. And my special hobby great for sending notes and letters. Thank you!

These are extra special. They each are hand embellished with a little sparkle. They are for love letters too! I like to try some scrapbooking. Probably my favorite of the 3 round stickers which I use for mailing. Very grateful. Thank you!

All of my collages are created using at least 75% recycled materials. My greeting cards and stationary are printed on high quality recycled papers using 100% wind power; some of my prints are as well, and these ones are also vegan (I have not yet found vegan cello sleeves--packaging materials are a whole other ballpark). I have a new line of "Botanicals" trickling in slowly, but surely; accordingly, each card/print or product purchased, 10% will be donated to various organizations; for example, buying my "Rose" greeting card will support the International Labor Rights Forum's current campaign, "Fairness in Flowers," who work against the indignity South American workers, especially women, face in the rose and carnation floriculture. I am a craftivist. I firmly believe we can change the economy and the environment by making better decisions around what we buy and who we buy from. I heard on NPR about a guy who pledged to only buy from someone who he has met; Jennifer Brown of www.UnderTheRoot.Etsy.com pledged to wear the same dress for a year. While I myself, and probably most of us are not that extreme, we can still create enoromous change with the simplest and smallest of acts. Buying handmade and from an artist is GIGANTIC!

Payment
I accept all forms of payment. I am also open to trade--show me yours and I'll see if I'm interested in trading you mine.
Shipping
As is posted, I ship first class. If you'd like another method and are willing to pay for it, contact me and we can arrange for it. I am not responsible for any loss or damage brought about by the post office and postal service. I embrace international customers, but please contact me first so we can figure out any additional shipping expenses that might apply. If you are concerned that the item will sell out, go ahead and purchase, but expect a possible pay pal invoice billing you for the difference in shipping (if it applies); I cannot ship your product until I receive this payment as well. I try to reuse shipping materials when I can; this includes everything from the tissue paper to the bubble wrap. I say in my individual listings that you should allow up to one week after receipt of payment for me to process and ship your order. I also point out that it rarely takes that long--in fact, I think on average I ship the same day. Some orders require special packaging. I am a student, a writer, a mother, and I have a chronic pain condition, so I try to give myself some wiggle room. If you read this and need your order rushed out, please tell me in the buyer's message. I will confirm directly whether or not that will be possible, which typically should be no problem.
Refunds and Exchanges
Contact me with your complaint and we will see what can be arranged. I seek to satisfy. I feel that these issues can be specific and very personal, so I'd rather deal with them on an individual basis. The one issue I cannot be held responsible for is any loss or damage that was brought about by the post office and postal service.
Additional policies and FAQs
I am happy to provide a lay away plan if you so need it. I can't see this applying to low-priced items, but for original art work, the pillows maybe, and the wall hangings. Contact me for details.
