Please note that I am updating this store so it may have untidy aspects.
I am a full-time professional wood engraver working in a small rural community in Eastern England, producing prints for exhibition, illustration and bookplates. I am an elected member of the Society of Wood Engravers.
All of the work that you see in my shop have been designed and engraved onto the end-grain of blocks of wood such as English boxwood, using traditional engraving tools with wonderful names such as spitsticker and lozenge graver.
These blocks are then inked and printed onto high quality, acid-free paper using one of my Victorian handpresses. Unless otherwise stated, all the work is from a strictly limited edition of prints. All my products are original artist's prints, not reproductions.
If you send the item as a gift and request a message to be included, this will be hand-written on paper or card.
When I post to destinations outside of the UK, I declare the selling price on the customs form and you are responsible for any duty payable in your country.
