About

Original Modern Abstract Art

I have always been a creative person, passionate about everything from art to graphic and interior design. Art is so important to me because it gives me a sense of freedom of expression that feels pure and uninhibited. I also find it to be very therapeutic. I try to express things that are personal to me and relatable to other people. I find it to be pretty awesome when people connect with my art, love it and want it to be a part of their life.

My art is an expression of my experiences, emotions, inspirations and stories I choose to tell. A big part of my art is texture, combining materials, color, composition and scale. Combining these elements, I produce acrylic abstract paintings and contemporary metal wall art.

In my acrylic paintings, I use texture and color to help express a mood or emotion. I apply texture first to the substrate, because I like how the texture affects how the color looks and is applied later. I use additive and subtractive techniques as I paint. I work in thin layers of paint, usually adding color from light to dark. This way, I can use water drips, a rag, other objects, even my hands to distress or remove the current layer of paint, revealing what is below. I find that this process results in a more unique and interesting piece of art, as it isn’t just what I add to the art, but what I subtract along the way that makes the final piece so visually interesting.

My metal wall art stems from my affinity for steel. I am drawn to the clean, simple and industrial aspect of it. It is so strong, utilitarian, modern and beautiful … yet delicate. Basic environmental conditions can deteriorate it so easily. Then that decay, in the form of rust, becomes this new life in a way. It transforms into a different yet equally beautiful thing, with colors including bright oranges and reds. I combine metal with industrial rivets, paint, found objects and various materials to create art that is as unique as the materials used to make it.

Returns and exchanges
In all my years of selling art online, returns and exchanges are very rare. But in the case you would like a refund or exchange, please contact me immediately via email for your return confirmation. You can also choose to exchange your art for another piece.

> 14-day money back guarantee (starting at date of delivery)
> Buyer is responsible for all shipping and packaging costs, both ways. This will be deducted from the original purchase price when refunded. Unfortunately even if the original shipment was "Free Shipping" there is a cost incurred by me and I can not afford to lose that due to returns. I keep every receipt for my actual shipping & packaging costs and will email you a copy to show the amount that will be deducted from your refund.
> All returns must be shipped back to me insured with a tracking number.
> Art must be returned in the same condition it arrived to you in.
> Refunds are given within a few days of receiving the returned art and all other conditions above have been met.

IMPORTANT: If you receive damaged art you must save the damaged box so I can immediately file a claim with the shipping company. They will need to see the box to launch their investigation. All of my art is shipped insured through the shipping company.

IF POSSIBLE: When you receive your art, if the box looks crushed the best thing to do is to take a photo of the box (before you open it), just in case the art is damaged inside. This will be a huge help with filing a claim against the delivery company.

Thank you.
Payment
I accept PayPal which means you can pay using your bank account, debit, or credit cards. It’s free, secure, and takes no time at all. Please email me if you need another payment option. I appreciate prompt payments. All products are shipped after full payment has been received.

In case of custom orders, I request a 50% non-refundable deposit before I start making the actual art.
Shipping
I ship via FedEx and UPS within 1-3 days after receipt of payment in full. My art is professionally packed in sturdy boxes or wooden crates, depending on the size and situation. I use sturdy packing materials and fill to properly support the art during transit.

U.S. Shipping: My shipments are insured and come with tracking numbers. Occasionally I add "Signature Required" depending on the situation or at buyer's request.

International Shipping: I currently do not offer this in my listings, but if you are interested in my art, simply send me an email and I would be happy to give you a quote to ship internationally to you.
