An artist from the start to the end. I just have to be creative!

Full time artist/designer/painter living in Viola, Idaho. I work in watercolors, oils for my traditional painting subjects, and have a retro/vintage look style to my work as well. I also have recently dabbled in Metal art design. I do mostly custom work in metal with the help of my 17 yr. old son who is also very creatIve.

I love God, am married (25 years), have 2 boys, live on 6 acres in the palouse country of north Idaho, grew up a spoiled ski brat in Ketchum/Sun Valley, Idaho. I work hard taking care of my place, and running my business, am careful around my 2 texas longhorns, enjoy farm fresh eggs from my funky chickens. I am entertained by my friendly cats, get tired of my rooster trying to attack me, search for time to weed my garden, take a break to hunt and fly-fish not as often as I would like. I love to hear my older son sing, and watch my younger son play ice hockey and learn to paint. I am blessed by the beauty of flowers, the style of cars and trucks from the 50's and 60's, and the challenge of casting the proper fly over a beautiful mountain creek in search of the gorgeous lurking trout below.

I worked as a graphic designer and art director out of college after studying art and architecture at University of Idaho. I received a bachelor of fine arts at the University of Idaho.

See more variety of work and examples of commissions I have done on my website or more of my process and inspiration at my blog. I also am fairly active on facebook,
