Brain Storm Survivor.

Hello. I am a Native Upstate New Yorker who fled the snow in 1985 for California where at least in comparison the weather rocks. I have had a long career as a psychiatric social worker. In 1997 a brain aneurysm left me with some permanent visuospatial impairment and an inability to return to my version of normal. I fought that brain storm, that taker of lives and lifes by challenging myself to get a doctorate in psychology- way serious and no pity diplomas there. Those 5 years were a long strange trip- quite a "brain workout: the director's cut." Adversity stops for no one. Some of you may remember Satchel the Wonder Pup, my companion animal from 2001 to 2009. Cancer cut his life so short and so unexpectedly. That is a grief long observed. Rest in peace Wonder Pup, you deserve it.

And, other than spending a lot of time up on Choctaw Ridge, I design jewelry as a way of fighting the visuospatial curse by focusing. I find an internal rhythm to stringing those beads, hence "Aneurythm." My designs are Earthy and Ethnic. The style is Boho. Aneurythm is EthnoBoho.

And still I rise- mostly just out of bed, but hey...
