AngelQ Expressions ha aperto ufficialmente un negozio su Etsy nel 2007 con l'unico scopo di celebrare l'Individualità. Lo slogan del mio negozio, "Support Creative Intelligence", è un meraviglioso promemoria che gli oggetti fatti a mano sono fatti con un sacco di cuore e anima. I miei pezzi sono ispirati al Soprannaturale e al Paranormale, allo Strano e al Macabro, e a tutte le cose GROOVY. Grazie alla mia Musa e a diverse tazze di caffè, sono costantemente ispirato.
Inizialmente ho iniziato a dipingere scatole e segni del tesoro e presto ho abbracciato il mio amore per gioielli e accessori unici. Ho sempre avuto un'affinità per le pietre semipreziose e le loro proprietà metafisiche, quindi spesso le incorporo nei miei pezzi. Soprattutto ematite. Questa è una pietra della firma di AngelQ Expressions. L'ematite è nota per le sue proprietà metafisiche nel reprimere le energie negative. Possiamo SEMPRE usare un buon mojo, giusto?
Ho anche una predilezione per il sale. Sì, sale. Il sale è rappresentativo dell'assenza di decadimento ed è spesso usato per consacrare e proteggere l'ambiente circostante. Gli investigatori del paranormale usano spesso il sale per benedire case e luoghi che possono avere cattive influenze. E il mio programma preferito, Supernatural, usa i cerchi di sale per tenere lontane le entità malvagie. I miei gioielli con fiale di sale hanno un ulteriore vantaggio: l'olio essenziale di sangue di drago. Dragon's Blood è noto per le sue proprietà metafisiche nella protezione e nella consacrazione. I miei gioielli e accessori hanno sia funzione che forma - e un sacco di DIVERTIMENTO!
Sono letteralmente un one-woman show e non lo farei in nessun altro modo. Mi piace il processo creativo di trovare i materiali giusti che lavorano insieme. Spesso creo pezzi unici nel loro genere, perché la magia accade semplicemente – solo una volta. Ogni oggetto che fotografo è fatto nel mio studio e quello che vedi è quello che ottieni. Non uso foto d'archivio per i miei gioielli e accessori. Credo che ogni pezzo abbia una sua "personalità" e debba brillare da solo. Per me, la qualità viene prima della quantità. Inoltre imballo ogni ordine con cura e li spedisco direttamente dall'ufficio postale. E chi lo sa? Potresti anche trovare una sorpresa, che è anche un tocco speciale AngelQ ed Etsy.
Il mio motto, "Chi vuole essere come tutti gli altri?" è vero in ciò che creo e in chi sono come artista. Non troverai i miei disegni sparsi sulle copertine delle migliori riviste di moda o realizzati in quantità di massa per la tua catena di vendita al dettaglio di quartiere - e questo è il punto. Celebra la tua individualità!

AngelQ Expressions officially opened up shop on Etsy in 2007 with the sole purpose of celebrating Individuality. My shop tagline, “Support Creative Intelligence”, is a wonderful reminder that handmade items are made with a whole lot of Heart and Soul. My pieces are inspired by the Supernatural and the Paranormal, the Odd and Macabre, and all things GROOVY. Thanks to my Muse and several cups of coffee, I am constantly inspired.
I originally began painting treasure boxes and signs and soon embraced my love for unique jewelry and accessories. I have always had an affinity for semi-precious stones and their metaphysical properties, so I often incorporate them into my pieces. Especially hematite. That is an AngelQ Expressions signature stone. Hematite is known for its metaphysical properties in quelling negative energies. We can ALWAYS use good mojo, right?
I also have a fondness for salt. Yes, salt. Salt is representative of the absence of decay and is often used to consecrate and protect surroundings. Paranormal investigators often use salt to bless houses and places which may have bad influences. And my favorite show, Supernatural, uses salt circles to keep evil entities away. My salt vial jewelry has an added bonus: Dragon's Blood Essential Oil. Dragon's Blood is known for its metaphysical properties in protection and consecration. My jewelry and accessories have both function and form – and a whole lot of FUN!
I am literally a one-woman show and I wouldn't have it any other way. I enjoy the creative process of finding the right materials that work together. Often times, I create One-of-a-Kind pieces, because the magic simply happens – just once. Every item that I photograph is done in my studio and what you see is what you get. I do not use stock photos for my jewelry and accessories. I believe that every piece has its own "personality" and it should shine on its own. For me, quality comes before quantity. I also package each order with care and ship them directly from the post office. And who knows? You may even find a surprise treat, which is also an AngelQ and Etsy special touch.
My motto, “Who wants to be like everyone else?” holds true in what I create and who I am as an Artist. You won't find my designs scattered across the covers of top fashion magazines or made in mass quantities for your neighborhood retail chain– and that's the whole point. Celebrate Your Individuality!
