Announcement   Welcome to my shop AngelqueCreations. Handwoven beaded wearable art created by Jacquie Champion and inspired by the beautiful and peaceful Sea of Cortez, Baja Sur, Mexico. During my year long adventure sailing down the coast from Vancouver Canada, aboard our sailing vessil Angelique of Vancouver, to the Sea of Cortez we saw many beautiful bays with white sandy beaches abundant with sea life. The Sea of Cortez provided many of the shells incorporated into my designs and inspired the range of colours.

See something that you like but need a different size or colour, convo me and I can custom make it to suit you.

I am a proud member of the Etsy BeadWeavers Team. Search EBW TEAM for more beautiful beadwoven creations or visit our blog for links to all members’ shops: http://www.etsy-beadweavers.blogspot.com

Hand Woven Beaded Wearable Art - Inspired by the tranquil Sea of Cortez

Handwoven beaded wearable art created by Jacquie Champion and inspired by the beautiful and peaceful Sea of Cortez, Baja Sur, Mexico. During my year long adventure sailing down the coast from Vancouver Canada, aboard our sailing vessil Angelique of Vancouver, to the Sea of Cortez we saw many beautiful bays with white sandy beaches abundant with sea life. I live aboard my 34 foot sail boat named Angelique of Vancouver. We have lived aboard since 1994 (now 22 years) and in 2008 we sailed Angelique of Vancouver to Mexico and the Sea of Cortez. This is where I got hooked on beading and found that it was something that I could make on the boat that did not take up a lot of space. Since coming back to Vancouver I have learned Manet new skills in my passion of bead weaving and have expanded my line of Wearable Art.

Angelique of Vancouver is our 34 foot Coast sail boat and studio. I design and construct all of my hand woven one of a kind (OOAK) pieces on our salon table. When we go sailing I need to pack every thing away quickly.

Welcome to Angelque Creations Shop. My pieces were inspired by the tranquile Sea of Cortez Mexico where I spent 6 months on my sail boat Angelique of Vancouver. (Web Page http://www.angelque.ca). It was in La Paz, Mexico that I learned how to create my first bead woven jewelry and was hooked, just like the anchor in a quite bay in Isla San Fransisco. Most of my shell pieces are from shells that I collected from the Sea of Cortez Mexico and I hope that you injoy them as much as I in making them. Each time I make a new piece of jewelry I am taken back to a once in a life time adventure.
