5 out of 5 starsI absolutely adore this pear -- and the knitting/assembly work was so expertly done! If possible, it looks even better in person than it does in the photograph. You can't look at it without smiling; the perfect addition to any office or study. An excellent way to add a little more pear to your life. I'm looking forward to ordering some of the smaller knit pears that were recently unveiled.

For the love of pears!
I started drawing the comic strip, Angry Pear (www.angriestpear.com), a little over two years ago. Initially it began as a characterization of my own life. I coined the word "pearish" among friends and family as a way of describing peevish, fickle and often silly behavior. It's part autobiography, part slapstick with a lot of puns and childlike silliness. A little while later, I started making cards and little polymer pears. I keep adding new pears and new cards as I go forward.
I have been collecting pears for some years now. Some people collect owls, some collect chickens, or teacups, I collect pears. Not a birthday or gift-giving / receiving holiday goes by that someone doesn't give me a pear or something with a pear on it. I love it. However, I have noticed in my years of collecting that there is a serious lack of representation ( repearsentation ) in the marketplace, especially when compared to the amount of apple-related items and knick knacks out there. So I started this shop.
