I began making hair bows to give as gifts when my son was a baby. After a while I got so many compliments that friends and friends of friends, coworkers, and distant family members were requesting hair accessories. I began doing craft shows a year after that and now I am so excited to be opening an Etsy shop to expand even more!
All items in my shop are hand made by me, in my pet free and smoke free home. All of my solid colored ribbons are high quality made in the USA ribbons. I sew, tie, glue, heat seal, etc each and every accessory so that it is sure to hold up for the long term. My oldest daughter's headbands were passed on to my youngest and when my youngest outgrew them we passed them on to others. I have had many customers tell me my bows have lasted through multiple children and for years. Making high quality, long lasting hair accessories is very important to me. I am a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to my hair bows and if they do not meet my standards, they do not get sold to anyone!

My name is Krista, I am married to my wonderful husband, Luke. We have 3 beautiful children to which I have the pleasure of staying home with. I love to make hair bows in my free time and I am excited to be able to offer them for sale on Etsy!
Shop policies
Made to order and custom orders are not crafted until after payment has been received and production time will vary depending on the current number of orders I am completing. (Please check shop announcement at the top of the page for current production times) If you need a made to order or custom bow or headband rushed please message me to see if I am able to accommodate your needs. Many times when I rush an order I am bumping the rush order in front of others and/or taking away from family time, because of this there is an additional fee for rushing made to order and custom creations.
I ship via USPS first class mail and always in a box so your hair accessories are never smashed. In addition to production time, please allow 2-5 business days for shipping in the US and up to 4 weeks for international shipping. Priority shipping to the US is available for an additional charge and can be selected during the checkout process.
All bows and headbands are handmade by me in a smoke free pet free home.
**Hair bows contain small parts that can pose a choking hazard. Do not leave small children unattended while wearing their hair pretties and always remove hair bows before laying a child down to sleep.**

Accepted payment methods
Returns and exchanges
For health/hygiene reasons, refunds and exchanges due to changing your mind, buyers remorse, etc. can not be honored after the item has shipped.
Items damaged or lost in shipping are out of my control. If this is a concern for you please consider adding shipping insurance on to your order, there is an option at checkout to add insurance.
Any other refunds or exchanges will be honored on a case by case basis. Please message me with your concern and we can work together to come up with a solution.
Payment
Production does not begin until payment is received.
Cancellations must be made within 24 hours for custom orders and made to order items.
Cancellations are not accepted on rush orders and ready to ship items because many times these items have already shipped.

Shipping
Shipping can be upgraded at the customers request and for an additional fee to ship via priority mail, and shipping time will be reduced to 2-3 business days. You can pay this additional fee at checkout. If you request an upgrade after your item has been purchased, your item will not ship until the additional fee has been paid.
I ship from St. Louis, MO. If you are local and would like to pick up your item please use coupon code PICKUP1 for no shipping charge.
*International Shipments*
CUSTOMS DUTIES/FEES/TAXES/VAT: Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These fees are the buyer’s responsibility. Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to purchasing. These fees are usually paid upon receipt of the package. US and International laws prevent me from marking merchandise values below value or marking items as gifts. Please do not ask me to do so.
Additional policies and FAQs
Ribbon ends are always sealed to prevent fraying and bows are always treated either with heat or starch to ensure they hold their shape. Lots of attention to detail goes into each and every accessory.
Hair accessories contain small parts and can pose a choking hazard for small children. Always supervise small children while wearing their hair accessories and never lay a child down to sleep with a hair accessory in their hair.

Frequently asked questions
Gift wrapping and packaging
I always package my bows and headbands in a box with tissue paper so there is no need to worry about a smashed bow arriving on your door step!
Care instructions
Spot cleaning with just water is best, however, I have used a drop of dawn on some bows that my girls managed to really muddy up and it has not harmed them. **If your bow has a bottle cap be mindful not to soak the bottle cap, just use a damp cloth to wipe clean.** Reshape and set out to dry.
Sizing details
Headband Sizing is as follows:
Newborn= 12.5inches
0-6month= 13 inches
6-18month= 15 inches
18month+= 17 inches
These measurements are what I cut for the headband length, NOT the baby/child head size. When choosing a size it is best to go with a size that is at least 1 inch SMALLER than your baby/child's head circumference.
