Love my creepy bunny choker! Anna's creature creations are so full of odd, yet endearing character. She has an amazing sense of balance for sizing pieces so that their detail and uniqueness shine through, without ever being too gaudy or distracting.

I have a tiny ring finger and the artist kindly sized this beautiful ring for me perfectly. What I love most about it is how strikingly unique it is, yet still small and subtle enough to be worn daily.

I love this! I haven't gotten the hang of using just the stick to keep my hair up but I love to put it through my bun!

About

Weird and wonderful art jewelry and hypoallergenic earrings.

I got a special love for animals, fairy tales, and surreal art. I want my items to amuse and provoke feelings. My jewelry is more about ideas than being pretty.  When I get an idea I want to make it happen immediately, because I know that when the next idea comes I´ll lose interest in the previous one. The great thing about doing all the work my self is that I can have an idea, sculpt it, fire it, give it the right finish and have it listed on etsy to get feedback on it, all in one day. Once or twice I actually managed to sell an item the same day I made it.

I'm self taught, with the exception for the occasional weekend class in clay, glass and metal. I taught my self by experimenting and this has lead me to discover techniques that I don´t think I could have learned any other way.

How I work: I usually sculpt in a clay that shrinks when firing, this way I get better details in small pieces. I start sculpting by forming the clay roughly to shape with fingers, after drying I carve the details I want with a scalpel. By using molds and clay that shrinks I make my sculptures in different sizes so that I can offer them as pendants, rings, earrings... To duplicate them I use molds, but details get lost in molds so I reshape and carve every item by hand before firing and finishing. My items are solid metal, they are durable and quite unique.
