Sparkle with One-of-a-kind Swissmade lampwork glass beads! I am a French flameworker who lives and works in beautiful Switzerland. I started teaching beadmaking and sculptural techniques almost 15 years ago. I have my own teaching studio in Lausanne, in the French speaking part of Switzerland.
I work exclusively with soft glass because I love the way it flows. My work has been widely published and I am very happy to be able to present it to you here.
I am a self-representing artist (SRA) and I believe Etsy to be an interesting alternative to the global economy crisis. Buying handmade directly from the maker is the best way to make your voice heard in the modern high finance-driven market !
Thanks for your interest in my work !

Thank you, you must be having the full collection by now! I'd love to see what you do with them if you want to send me pics. Maybe I could showcase them on my YouTube channel?

Handmade glass beads and sculptures
After spending the first 10 years of my professional life as a research scientist, I decided to change courses and go full time into arts, in which I had always been heavily involved, as I needed to find another focus for my life. I have come to glass first through fusing but I quickly turned towards beadmaking and flameworking in general. I have studied with American and Venetian master flameworkers.
My work has been published in several books and magazines over the world.
I started teaching beadmaking in 2002 and opened my own studio in 2003 in Switzerland. My current brick-and-mortar shop, where I both teach and sell my work, is in the old town of Lausanne.
For many years, I sold my work on Ebay and this taught me a lot about selling over the internet. I discovered Etsy a couple of years ago and after observing the way it worked for a time, I realized that it was the perfect place to display my work, a place where high quality handmade pieces have their place and where buyers and makers are in direct contact... which I think is a very important feature to counteract the negative aspects of globalization.
